The largest home appliance OEM in the world approached the LevelGuard team with a challenge.  Specifically, they were creating a new stand-alone ice maker for one of their premium brands and wanted to also address one of their biggest design requests: come up with a more reliable way to measure the level in the water reservoir where the ice is generated.  In addition to needing to be more reliable, they wanted the sensor to be submerged directly in the water.  The LevelGuard team created a design that involved over-molding the Field Effect level sensor with an NSF-safe plastic material and integrated a wire harness that created a robust solution used on over 750,000 units and counting.
